A lot of the problems initiated by men in our communities isn’t intentionally to oppress women or hold the community back but a result of 400 years of damage done to the black community
So many black men have lacked proper parental guidance & role models to set them straight + teach them how to navigate society properly, black men are simply just by products of their environment

Because black women are not searching equal pay and opportunity with black men. And black men are definitely not the ones in positions of power stopping them from reaching for these opportunities.
Which is why I mentioned in the following post that we need to dismantle capitalism because IMO it’s the main oppressor.
Black men by scale don’t hold the power to oppress in this way but we’re complicit by partaking in capitalism

as there’s already laws in place against such abuse and there isn’t a system to fight it’s just the way some people are which to me makes this more of an individual type thing which was my point all along
