This thread just makes me sad, because everybody is making great points and are right, but nobody can find common ground between these debates. I believe that they're a lot of black men who don't protect black women, but to ignore the crazy amount of black men who worked so hard for Black women and protect them causes way more harm than good. The "Not Black Men" is wack within itself, but when you're generalizing black men as whole, you're pushing every black man away and causing more division. As someone who stood close to my Mom all my life through divorces, I had to protect my Mom through a lot of s*** that happened the past couple years with my ex Step-Father.

To all my brothas and sistas in the community, we have to remain close.

So piggybacking off my point yesterday. Instead of crying about hurt feelings when black women say they don't feel protected by us, how about taking that energy out on niggas like this?

These people are here to impose their views on you. There’s no middle ground or room for debate.
Certain simplistic points are made, and immediately highlighted. It’s almost looks like certain image has to be preserved at all costs, we know the site has partnerships with other platforms and such.
