Social media has strengthened the parasocial relationships fans have with their favorite artists to the point where people like Dedication go out of their way to defend these artists with their life

It also goes in the opposite direction where people like OP or Free Gunna will just take a random tweet like Megan’s (which could be about literally anything) and using it to spin some narrative because they personally dislike the artist
