i honestly dont like the direction earl has been going since SRS but i think hes a great writer and im glad people are still supporting him. the music itself is doing nothing for me though.

i mean, i would totally disagree with you there, but plenty of underground MCs aren’t the typical definition of captivating either. production is just as important, and for Earl it’s been consistently good-great since he started making music like this.

I wasn't really speaking for myself with that post lol but I'm sorta with the guy, the direction he's on rn isn't very appealing to me. This Ep didn't do much for me, SRS was a great body of work but I rarely revisit. He's still one of the best rappers out, I just don't put him on the same pedestal as I once did when I was in my early teens. Hopefully his later ouputs grows on me like IDLSIDGO, only time will tell
