This is 12 year old humor, you can do better than that
Okay you just made this up lmao.
Some female rap reviews he’s had in the past couple years:
Megan thee Stallion - Traumazine: 6/10
Megan thee Stallion - Good News: 6/10
Megan thee Stallion - Fever: 7/10
Megan thee Stallion - Suga EP: 5/10
Cardi B - Invasion of Privacy: 6/10
Ice Spice - Like..? EP: 5/10
Nicki Minaj - Queen: 5/10
Doja Cat - Scarlet: 6/10
The only two he’s given above a 6/10 are Fever and this Sexyy Red album.
I don’t even like Fantano that much but let’s not make things up to push a narrative
He did rank Flo Milli high but that's just good taste
This is 12 year old humor, you can do better than that
little do you know im being dead serious my guy
little do you know im being dead serious my guy
Damn bruh you got the whole squad laughing
most people get mad at needledrop when he doesnt hype up "street" rap and call him not a "true" rap fan for it and thus a vulture in that regard who only reps "internet" and in "in your house" rap music. from ktt2 to twitter to rap figures
sexyredd music is nothing new and her lane has been around for 40 years amnd getting praised or at leasat listen from lil kim to silkEfine to Foxy Brown for women and even since the 80s with men such as Too Short, Schooly D and Kool G Rap
this is part of culture and the genre since almost its birth, it is nothing new, and no one one is ruining anything that hasnt already been part of the genre longer than any ones age on this site
these arguments are dumb and surface level
I think the issue people have is that the lyrical content of the music has significantly declined. While it is still much of the same topics as before, the decline in phonetics has led to more direct and less nuanced lyrics so it’s jarring to people who aren’t typically experiencing this side of the culture.
That was one of the main issues gatekeepers had in the 90s with the rise of gangsta rap, is that it was bringing attention to a side of the culture that exists and is a reality for many black people. They felt it was ruining some made up “pure” element of what rap is 🙄
Sexyy Red is cool with me and it’s awesome to see a woman expressing herself and her reality how she chooses to. You can listen to jazz, opera, classical, and love music and still become a victim to your social conditions. The music seems to be getting used as a scapegoat
blatant lie lmao
niggas gave him so much s*** about the lil pump s***, still get referenced to this day
Consensus says I’m wrong
(I still think black women get more hate than me though)
Some people here are comparing sexxy red to typical street rappers. But it’s not even comparable are there any popping street rappers that are doing anything different with their image.
If Sexxy red was to just look like Meg or Cardi she would get a lower score too.
Wtf I'm halfway in and this wack AF.
Why don't we take points off for not even having a flow anymore? Because she's from the trap?
Like are we giving her points for even being able to put together rhymes here? She sucks
Donda, DAMN, and Astroworld is right there but that's the one that shocks you
All amazing
i’m from the hood too and like the ratchet jams but the new stuff isn’t ittt
what happened to the city girls, miss 2018
i only like sexy red on the drake song
crine at this dude literally saying "y'all know this is just my opinion, right" underneath every video and people still getting this mad over it
I think you have a point here. I can see how giving a score to an album would cause someone to just want to read the score and move onto something else as opposed to read someone's actual well thought out review. another reason why I hate scores
Look at theneedledrop reviews. YouTube now shows you the most popular part of the video above the scrollbar and 95% of the time it's right when he gives the score.
