Melrose is a vast improvement over its predecessor, 90210. Constantly changing perspectives and a lack of realism make for fast-paced and entertaining plots. One plot has the protagonists escaping from an institute for the criminally ill, while another involves one of the characters being possessed by the evil ghost of her childhood abuser (à la BOB in Twin Peaks!).
