It’s really great, you have a lot to choose from. Threw in all kinds of side bonuses of Stax material. I even threw in the anthology from his peach tree label. Found all the liner notes that explain the history of his label. You have a Stax duets compilation with Bell.

Plus you have a unreleased early Stax sessions Cd from mid sixties. That’s more Booker T & the Mg’s backing him. That’s about 70 minutes, including some tracks with Isaac Hayes backing him. That’s about close to 3 hours with just the added bonus discs. 😎

That Tribute to a King song is so nice. That’s a wild story about how when Otis passed he sent a private song as a eulogy to the wife, I believe. But the widow convinced him to release it on record. But he still wouldn’t put this song on a lp out of respect to his best friend. 😎

He had both of his close friends die a untimely way. He allegedly was meant to be on the plane that Otis was on. 😔

And all of this plus the Stax documentary stream on bbc4

Plus you get cool b-sides like Poor Soldier about the consequence of war.

Plus the return lp on Stax from 2016 is pretty nice. It’s like Bell has returned home full circle. 😨

Still just warming up to what I got coming. 😳

It's cool , I still make all my post's so anyone could visit it any time if they searched my name and found something interesting. No expiration date as long as my account on media fire continues.

I Will have another Funk r&b soul drop on Sunday & later on you will see another revisiting of southern soul sometime in November. Good for bbq & card playing. 😎But for now, you can flip through this one. 😎

Only a few more days until the new Funk R&B Soul Sunday’s.

Who will it be? Who will it be/The only one who knows is AC, that’s me/😭

@Asaki , you might find this valuable. I go very informative on many artists & bands plus I include a drop bundle of music every week.

In the future, I will be connecting the Constellation dots to more legends. I’ve been doing this for over a year. Every Sunday almost . This week as you can see I have condensed a known figure who plays an important role at Stax. Plus you get the original artwork & out of print non streaming music as well as other works. 😎

The great thing is every thread you go back for this series and (other series), it's all archived on my storage locker. Stream's are a little bit more harder to manage because of bots and take down's. But i do okay for that area as well. But some I just can't do it, it gets zapped so quick

But what this does, it lives on perpetually and lurkers can dl it and not even have to worry about anything expiring or even asking me for a re-up.

I make it so everyone gets the original artwork if it's circulating.

My simple rule is: "What would I want as a listener that isn't presented in one place?" And then I just start assembling everything of that artist or band i find of value.

The one's I have in the works for the rest of the year?

The audiophile lurker's are going to flip. It's going to be a bit of work but Im going to cover a lot for november and december. Many surprises.

2 more days, all picked out who I’m covering. 😭Welcome to all the new drop stumblers who just walked in by a act of fate. I promise to keep going every week with this Funk R&B Soul Sunday’s series. November & December a lot of history. Lots of variety, I will return to another southern soul goat as well that I don’t think has ever had a thread. Ohhh yea. 😎
