I got my heart smashed repeatedly over the last year and I'm way happier with myself and who I am today than I was then. You're not going to grow by keeping yourself isolated, insulated from pain and difficult emotions. You have to take chances, be real with yourself and chase what you really want.

Find people who will accept your growth and the challenges that go along with that and treat them well. They're rare.
