justin hicks' involvement is nearly overwhelming on here but i understand why he was utilized so heavily given the potency of his voice

like i lowkey missed meshell's singing during parts of this but I understand that her mellow vocal style & limited range bar her from evoking the levels of intensity, dread, terror, sorrow, & urgency that hicks is able to deliver which are key to faithfully actualizing a sonic impression of baldwin's work.
