French metal band 'Gojira' may arguably have made the biggest moment in metal history as they were the first metal band to perform at the olympics. They performed at the building " Marie Antoinette" the last queen to rule France before being imprisoned and executed by guilliotine in 1793.

Metal has never been on this type of global stage EVER. The closest would be Metallica performing at USSR in the 80s when the red curtain fell down.

Well deserved Gojira is an amazing band and their messaging is something really anyone can get behind they make sense for something like this

All of their albums are good but stating after From Mars to Sirius would be a travesty
