MGS 1= 720p on all consoles I believe and 30 fps

MGS 2&3= 1080p 60fps on consoles and 720p and idk fps on switch

I’ve read that it goes 3 > 1 > 2 chronologically (in the game’s timeline), should I play them in this order? Or should I play it 1 > 2 > 3 as released?

Honestly you should play it in release order, it’s not completely necessary but there’s a lot of jokes and references that wouldn’t really make sense if you play in story order. Plus I think it really gives you more appreciation for how the series evolved by playing them how they released.

chronological order is the best imo. running jokes run both ways. 3 - peace walker - 5 - metal gear - metal gear 2 - metal gear solid - mgs2 - mgs4
