looks fantastic in handheld mode too, and even on the tv I like the aesthetic it holds up well

Tempted to buy for Switch. Never actually played these outside of MGS1 when I was a kid and I never got far

The Master collection is so good as usual lol. MGS2 is my favorite game of all time and it's so cool to have it on the go now. MGS3 is my second favorite game ever too

I'm gonna buy the PC port too so I can have these games on tap forever

yeah but in mgs2 it’s the style of game where the camera is in a fixed position mostly so it’s hard to notice imo

except for when you switch to first person of course but usually I just pop in and out quickly

Oh I see what you’re saying, it looks the same visually on switch, ps5, pc so I thought you meant there was something wrong with the switch version compared to other platforms but yeah if you mean the old version vs this master collection version then yeah I heard the visuals aren’t quite as good. Something to do with anisotropic filtering I think.

someone said it’s because there’s no anisotropic filtering (preserves texture quality) on the new version, not sure if that’s true

I can see why, s*** is so cinematic, the voice-acting is fantastic, and the gameplay is challenging and satisfying. I’m glued to the screen tbh
