I loved Origins years back and never played it for some reason even though it looked very similar. I'm enjoying it a Lott especially for the price. But anyway I don't see mgs 3 available in the ps store to buy on its own only the collection

i only played MSG3 a while back on the PS2 but i remember even back then the frame rate was s***ty during some sections

as someone who's a novice, should i just go out of my way and emulate on my PC or buy the collection?

also if i were to play MSG4 how would i go about playing that without breaking the bank? i heard it's damn near impossible to emulate that game on the PC (unless there's been some progress as of late)

Emulating MGS4 is a CPU-intensive nightmare atm unfortunately, you also need about 64GB of RAM to run it at 4K 60fps, I'd honestly recommend getting the cheapest pre-owned PS3 you can find and getting a copy

getting a working ps3 under $100 is a pain in the ass right now
