Not that I know of. It seems like they are purposely avoiding each other. The trailers or marketing don't mention him either. You can clearly tell there is still bad blood probably between them.

I never knew why tbh. I just know mgs v ended up unfinished as a result of their dwindling relationship. That's what I heard at least.

yeah he went way over budget on mgsv and wanted to delay it even further so towards the end of production konami pretty much cut him off and they wrapped production before letting him truly finish the game n thats why the ending is so jarring

yeah they wrenched it from him but konami got really weird around that time too. they had an internal internet and they made employees lick their phones away

but yeah it’s why the chapter in africa is such a mess

mgs v is magnificently overrated imo

just replayed ground zeroes this morning and that mission and cutscenes are so fire
