Metro def a character. Hard to know if a ego problem or he has a legitimate gripe. The whole sneak dissing twitter / cutting a drake verse and pretending it was for some legit artistic direction decision was weird. & if Drake wanted to be on trance then it’s clear he was still cool with him not that long ago.
Metro and Fewtch def had some issue also resulting in no collabs between them for years before finally reconnecting on H&V.
You’d have to think 21 tried mediate also being so close to both of them yet it’s kept escalating. Wont lie I am very interested to know how they got here.
They really poking a bear
Man give him someone new to send shots at for the next 5 years other than Push.
Yeah Metro was hot with Future before WATTBA but the clown needs to humble himself and realize that album did A LOT for him
Y’all aren’t serious ?
Bro Metro was the hottest producer of that time frame regardless if that album happened or not lol
Niggas been f***ing with Metro since Karate Chop and 19 and Boomin. I’ve never once attributed any boost for Metros career to WATTBA
Listen niggas be wrong everyday so I’m not 100% sure it’s a metro shot. But metro started moving very shady after her loss came out. Puts out a version of knife talk without Drake, takes a drake verse off Trance that everyone seemingly enjoyed when it leaked. Reasoning being “didn’t fit the vision for the song.” Not to mention heroes and villains did come out after her loss. I think it’s very possible metro gave more m’s to 21, and 21 never told metro drake was on it
Ofc metro probably eventually found out before hand it’s being used for a drake x 21 project. But I assume 21 is very close to metro and he asked to hold him down. And with the bread that a Drake credit brings, probably hard to say no to that.
I agree with most of what u saying besides the Trance take, idk what makes Drake obligated to be on that song even if people fw his verse on there.

His first biggest HIT was Where Ya At and that’s featuring Drake. He had a few tracks with Trav and Future but none of them were huge hits like Where Ya At then DS2 came out after then WATTBA
We don’t have to lie

I’m so tired of you niggas using charts to explain s*** that happened in real time because you weren’t tapped in at the time so you gotta use statistics lol
you googled what Metro’s biggest songs are and went to what looks like the earliest
Unfortunately there are those of us who don’t rely on Google and Wikipedia to tell us about a culture we engage with
This was Metro’s first big “mainstream” song and again his presence in the culture was solidified way before he had any mainstream presence. F*** googling charts nigga

He replied to someone speculating about the beef a few months saying some “never, got too much love for bro” so this gotta be an internal / jealousy problem metro . Doubt he would say that if drake did some wild s*** to him

This is literally fact based but let dudes come at you talking about "but the streets" or "if you was tapped in you would know about" and link some s*** Kyle and Michael played on the aux in their burbs during the summer of 2013. Where Ya At was his first big hit outside the frat parties if we're keeping it real and it wasn't just because of Future
Before metro delete this one . Denying the beef earlier in the year although people saw his shady s***

Metro and future didnt have beef from Mask Off to Superhero time span. They recorded about 250-300 songs according to Metro in that timespan.

Some of these people were born in the mid 2000s so there’s really no point in arguing music from last decade on ktt nowadays. As crazy as that sounds.

Do you not see the letter Wayne had to write for the Emmett Till lyric?
how is that happening if the song isn’t mainstream.
Lol y’all can’t be fr
Again y’all don’t know what y’all are talking about calling FBG The Movie (the Wayne version is a remix from the next year) something “Kyle and Michael played on the aux in the suburbs” when you’re arguing that his Drake collab made him hot? Outside of “frat parties” as if that’s some type of metric or who was mainly/the only people bumping Atlanta mixtapes in 2012-2014 lol

Lmao my Nigga YOU are Kyle and Michael. Lol that’s some twilight zone s***

WATTBA definitely pushed Metro forward in certain aspects tho. Not that he wasn’t big before. Karate Chop also was a big record but I wouldn’t say it reached the masses as much as some of the other records. He had many songs around that period that were bigger than that, even Tuesday which dropped the following year. Him and Future have always just worked and sounded more natural
Edit: And I didn’t just say Tuesday because Drakes on it, didn’t even realize that until after I sent it lol

No one knows this.
So 21 said he wouldn't work with Ye because he rides with Drake so heavily. What happens now?
Scary Hours 3 alone is better than it. And you'd have to be an npc to pick H&V over Honestly Nevermind and Her Loss. Literally some of the best albums from 2022 vs a knockoff Funk Wav Bounces album for pop rap casuals with Metro playing the Calvin Harris role
this sounds like someone who really likes drake but never listened to H&V OR HNVM
