I don’t expect people to agree with me with how I subjectively feel about the production. I know it’s well made, it just isn’t the type of production that really hits my ear.

And yeah it’s not a nostalgia bait project. Nostalgia bait in 2025 is usually very lazy with the execution and feels like it’s using the nostalgia in a cheap tacky way. This is basically a concept album, a love letter to a type of production and style that doesn’t really exist in hip-hop production today. You can respect that Metro made it with TLC, rather then making something that screams “HEY REMEMBER THIS, REMEMBER HOW THAT MADE YOU FEEL???”

Tyler album was a dud keep it a buck, this real music
