Listening to this also made me realize- damn the whole melodic shift in rap deliveries coming esp from trap rly does come a lot from this specific era. Mans like Uzi rly are a combo of this era s*** like rich kids, waka flocka, Roscoe dash, thug with his own s*** like Kanye and all his weird influences. Don’t know why I didn’t realize this earlier.

They all remember the time Metro is trying to bring back so he just had them be themselves.

Like if something is low quality and relying strictly on nostalgia for its appeal that's lame .

But it something invokes a feeling of nostalgia and is still just legitimately good that's still cool to me

This was such a beautiful listen - you can easily tell that every single person on this album had fun contributing. Gotta hand it to Metro to be able to reproduce such a nostalgic era of sound and deliver it with great quality
