It was the most streamed rap album on Spotify in 2022
Sup
Hi
This is insanity
It’s not. Have you never realized that literally every generation going back to the 60s downplays the next generation’s music?
Thread could use one of your iconic posts right now, Bow and Arrow
That era was only to remind everyone while Kendrick was gone.
But now after his classic album and classic tour its fresh in everyone’s mind, that Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper of all time
It was the most streamed rap album on Spotify in 2022
correct on spotify global.
Lot of Drake fans (rightfully) hold this opinion yet get mad when someone implies they like Abel’s 2020 work over his 2011 work
No one gets mad at that. If anything it seems like y’all get upset at people saying they prefer Abel’s trilogy work over his new s***
No, it’s your adolescent years. Most if not all people who discovered Abel in 2011 were definitely in their teens / very early 20s
Eh that's still based on your experiences of the time.
Albums I liked when I was 15-21 aren't the ones I see myself going back to since they didn't resonate with my life experiences.
I didn't get into Abel until BBTM and Cant Feel My Face but Trilogy hit me hardest because of what was going on in my life in 2015-2017 when I was 25+.
This is insanity
Is it really that hard to believe?
"Insanity" is so harsh in response to a study like this
Lot of Drake fans (rightfully) hold this opinion yet get mad when someone implies they like Abel’s 2020 work over his 2011 work
Jesse what the f*** are you talking about. Everything circles back to Abel with you
It’s not. Have you never realized that literally every generation going back to the 60s downplays the next generation’s music?
Nigga did a study on nostalgia and didn't realize people had personal preferences 💀
Jesse what the f*** are you talking about. Everything circles back to Abel with you
Why you using dudes name like that
Eh that's still based on your experiences of the time.
Fair. Again, it doesn’t apply to literally every single person ever, it’s just a general thing
correct on spotify global.
Idk what you're trying to say with that link you keep posting? Are those worldwide numbers? Is Spotify Global a different app from Spotify?
Jesse what the f*** are you talking about. Everything circles back to Abel with you
Why do y’all do this every time?
This just shows Toronto is the greatest city on this planet
Nigga did a study on nostalgia and didn't realize people had personal preferences 💀
It’s not about personal preferences. It’s about your brain forming crucial neural pathways during your teenage years that then become attached to the music you were listening to and discovering during those years. It’s science, not opinion
This just shows Toronto is the greatest city on this planet
London exists, sorry
