First, it was the post he made following the announcement of Her Loss saying he was pushing his album back.

There was some rapper (can't remember who) said they'd be pushing their album back since Her Loss would be dropping and Metro made it a point to say while he was delaying his album, he wasn't pushing his album back for anyone in his tweet. That was him throwing shade for the first time but no one paid it any mind:

Second was when he liked that tweet about his album being better than Her Loss:

Third was posting the version of Knife Talk without Drake a day after the version of Trance leaked and the internet was questioning why he left Drake off it:

Seems like Metro is just salty about something and it’s one sided

Drake would never have problems with someone and still give them a placement on his album and let them eat off his watch, he’s too petty

Maybe Metro was mad that More M’s ended up on Her Loss rather than on his album if it was a solo 21 track to begin with. 21 probably played it for Drake and Drake wanted to hop on it and they used it. Only thing I can think of
