also played this docked with the pro controller for the first time and this s*** smooth as f***, the larger travel of the controller sticks helps so much. What a great game man, I already know I’m gonna keep coming back to this over the years

If you get the unlock for doing hard mode in 4 or 8 hours do you simultaneously unlock the corresponding normal mode completion as well?

or do you have to both beat it in normal mode under 4 hours and hard mode in 4 hours

Finally got him too smh that parry timing is crucial

just finished it for the second time on hard mode and i can proudly say this is my GOTY

i've seen some criticism toward the lack of melodic tracks but i think the atmospheric approach works best for metroid anyway

this why super metroid OST is still the GOAT for being able to nail both aspects perfectly. soundtrack wasnt a huge gripe of mine but i do see where people are coming from in comparison to the franchise's history

Final boss kicked my ass for an hour straight. Game was really good, wish it was longer though bc now that I'm done I prob won't play it again
