Why would they do that

Because they'd prefer making a modernized metroid prime 1 for its 20th anniversary instead of porting the wii trilogy and upscaling the resolution i guess. That and according to a ex retro dev mapping wii controls of metroid prime 3 to switch is really difficult

from what i've read they basically would have to make prime 3 from scratch because configuring the wii controls to controller is apparently impossible first two are the best of the trilogy anyway

metroid prime 1 remastered getting flashbacks to getting trapped traveling across the map because some chozo ghosts wanna start s***

that s*** was honestly more annoying than shoehorning in a fetch quest to get to the final level and then doing it again at the end of prime 2 but somehow making it even more convoluted

Never played Metroid Prime but I know many of y'all love it. I'm not a big fan of first person games, but I'm very excited to see more of this game, mostly because I love to see fans get what they've been longing for. Hopefully it can spark some interest in me. Big plus if we get a hot model of Zero Suit Samus. Could convince a brother to give it a shot.
