I guess he's talking about pop-punk
He’s not the first rapper to do that and there was literally no distinction between his and than any other generic pop punk album
Yes you’d be surprised how many people actually liked it lol
someone told me it was the best pop punk album since the early 2000s so I listened and I was very disappointed
also I listened to it once and spotify refuses to take it out of my recommendations page so whenever I look at that I have to see "because you listened to Machine Gun Kelly" and it makes me feel bad.

That's one of the reasons why I moved from Spotify to Apple Music
Someone hacked into my Spotify and streamed Halsey and Cardi B and a bunch of random s*** that s*** never went away from my main page

Yeah they have bugs
I contacted their customer support and they were clueless about it lol
I dint know one song from that mgk album
i haven't even listened to mgk in years
he doesn’t own the year but i feel him.
artists should claim their space because sometimes the industry clearly ignores the successes of certain guys and we all know this lol
He lowkey made quite a lot of streams for someone of his image and music but what he doesn't get is that most of those streams weren't really for the same audience as the bigger artists.
The one thing I'll praise MGK for is that this was such a smart lane pivot. One of my IG followers has been a stan for ages and she only really listens to pop punk
