solid draft tbh i got a few thoughts

i felt a lot of the picks were kinda reaches but that just means flores and grier were getting their guys which i love to see

next year we'll probably have 4 new starters on the OL which is good to see now. Jackson and Hunt are exciting prospects.

Breida was a sick pick up as well but i still hope we take a top RB next draft.

CB seems to be a deep ass position which is necessary in todays nfl. i thought some of the guys available were a bit better than noah but his potential is through the roof and he seems like he could be a sick pick too

only pick i wasnt feeling was raekwon davis but i trust flores and grier so we'll see

Yeah I think Kindley is Davis replacement, we’ll probably start Davis at tackle again this season since Jackson probably isn’t ready yet

I’m cool with keeping Karras if he has a good year tho

jacksons surely not ready yet but i think he will get in towards the second half with the line looking jackson-flowers-karras-davis-hunt

Apparently Jackson might play right away at Guard, really interested to see how they manage the o line this year

I really hope we don’t play him at all next year, even if the o line is ready (don’t think they will be) I feel it’s best to just let him fully heal for a year

Team isn’t ready to compete yet so no reason to rush Tua into anything

If doctors cleared Tua and has proven that he's 100% then there's no reason to sit him a whole year. He's not going to heal any more than what he is now. I only see him sitting a few weeks to adjust to the new environment he's in and adjust to the playbook. Just my take

True, o line has to be ready if Tua plays tho. If o line is struggling then don’t risk it

    couple things bro:

there's no such thing as universal draft board, so a players like Jackson and Igbinoghene which maybe seenn as "reaches" to the national media were at the top of our draft board. regardless, if they pan out, we won't remember them as reaches

RB is such a devalued position, there's no need to take one earlier than the 2nd round. i have no interest in ever extending a RB bc it is not worth it; Todd Gurley went from highest paid RB to cut in 2 years. also, RBs can be found on trees; Raheem Mostert (WHO?) ran for 200 yards in the NFC title game. I like the Howard/Breida duo as thunder/lightning. in 2021, if we can reunite Tua with someone like Najee Hill as a 2-4 round pick, i'm all for that but i'm not with using a 1rd on Etienne.

Raekwon Davis was once shot and got a sack against FSU like three days later, man was born to play in Miami Gardens

like you said: Trust in Flores and Grier. they know what they're doing

yea obviously lol thats why i said im glad we got our guys. even if they went a bit early to me that just means flo and grier really value them so im happy

in regards to the RB comment, i never agreed with the notion that RBs are devalued. its an important position and a great player at that position can make quite the difference. Im happy with the players we have there for now but would probably like to see some improvement in the future depending on how this season goes. that said, i dont want etienne in the first either cause i dont think hes all that. Honestly a dream scenario to me would be a trade for chris carson. I love his style and think he can bring a ton to our offense and seattle seems to want to move forward with penny anyway

still, we need build up the line before we do anything but ya the future finally lookin bright

This draft would’ve been the only time I take a RB in the 1st since we had 3 picks and it was a late 1st

But yeah now I definitely wouldn’t take Etienne or any other RB with either of the 1’s next year, it’s early and things could change but i think pass rusher and receiver with those picks would be perfect

gotta address the lines and maybe S depending on how this year goes

idk why ppl keep saying we need WR help. I absolutely love the thought of Parker and Preston outside with Albert and Jakeem inside. Size, speed, hands, explosiveness, trickery they literally have it all. Just need to stay healthy lol

It’s just tough to count on any of these guys staying healthy man, and yeah I like Preston too but it was still a small sample size and he just tore his ACL so we really don’t know yet if Preston is a legit WR2

And going back to health concerns, I like Wilson in the slot but I have hard time believing he can stay healthy

I think all of us think way harder than Flo about the qb situation

I think he literally just starts whoever gives them the best chance to win. That’s why we saw so much of fitz last season and why tua may start from week 1 if he has a good camp
