The MJ estate's priorities are experience oriented tourism destinations geared towards the general public like the new broadway show, cirque du solei in Vegas, etc.

all his (and the Jacksons) demos and outtakes are probably going to rot in some sound engineer's shed until they die and its sold to some other collector or destroyed.

some of MJ's collaborators tour the outtakes around Europe for fan listening parties since the estate has no interest in the material other than to sue if it were released or leaked

Michael’s 50th anniversary of being a solo artist is this year. (MSG was 20 years ago!?)

haven't heard the remaster but it's a real shame when albums get bad remasters or remixes and that's the version that the streaming generation know it by

the lead vocals on the BAD chorus are much more prominent while the harmonies are more subtle, michael has a spoken word intro on I just Can't Stop Loving You that's not on the remaster, Smooth Criminal intro has some extra breathing during the intro, the bass and low end is way smoother throughout the tracks etc
