Beatles hands down
That said, theyre slightly overrated by critics because of how their albums are put on a pedestal as if theyre are all flawless masterpieces. Definitely top 10 band OAT tho
Beatles gets too much hate on KTT. personal opinion I've always leaned more towards Led Zeppelin , and The Rolling Stones. but The Beatles needs more respect.
Anyway the actual winner would be Prince.
lets not get this argument started I usually get flamed for saying Prince was a better artist then MJ. MJ performance wise and still iconic

Oh yea on KTT they definitely overhated.
Imo id put Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, and the Stones above them
You don't know what I meant by that: The Beatles put out 8+ classics in a row, one by one, year after year. Then continued to put out classics as solo acts. Those weren't covers either. In fact covers were a very small portion of their discog and don't compare to the amount of original Beatles songs that have been covered by other acts since.
Which albums of their solo run you would name as classics?
Who’s listening to the Beatles besides edgy white kids trying so hard to be different
my mom dumbass
I mean.. if you’re talking worth ethic and not putting Michael Jackson first you have no understanding of who the man was and shouldn’t comment.
Yeah ngl ppl gotta remember MJ worked dancing singing doing shows playing instrument and songwriting ever since he was like what 5yo? and never rested
Which albums of their solo run you would name as classics?
Plastic Ono Band, Imagine, All Things Must Pass, Ram and Band on the Run.
"Mind Games" is my fav song Lennon has made in his solo career tho. The video for it is f***ing GOAT too, seeing him walking in the park signing autographs for those kids, simply magical.

While I agree, he was lowkey influenced by The Beatles as well.
Well of course The Beatles influence is overarching. Prince did what they did...but it was much better
Plastic Ono Band, Imagine, All Things Must Pass, Ram and Band on the Run.

Mother you had me, but I never had you
I think Lennon had the better run? if you ignore his terrible wedding albums
MJ easily

That's pretty much why I didn't particularly care for The Beatles. I found their contemporaries in rock and pop music much more interesting. The Who, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Velvet Underground, Sly and the Family Stone, Black Sabbath, The Doors, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye...like so many other bands and artists of the 60s and 70s I'd listen to before even getting to The Beatles.

That quirky dude definitely had the highest amount of 10/10 mindblowing songs of all 3.
Plastic Ono Band, Imagine, All Things Must Pass, Ram and Band on the Run.

Do you hear the Beatles influence on this song? Paak is a huge Beatles fan so doesn't surprise me. Caught it on other songs in his discog as well. @aLIEN
I love this group. Like I know they doing soul music and blues and they white boys from the UK and all that, but damn, I f***ing love this group. I don't give a f*** man; they was on some other s***. This was the first song I heard of theirs. It was during my senior year of high school and this joint hit me like a ton of bricks. This white boy was like, "you never heard this before??" "Hell nah!" My mom didn't listen to the f***ing Beatles! She thought that s*** was corny.

Too much was going on in my life and a lot of those lyrics spoke to me even at a young age of 17; timeless music no matter what era it's made in. If it can still hit you like a ton of bricks upside your f***ing head then it's special and powerful. S*** hurts in a good way.
Paak too real bro
some of y'all would say MJ a better writer than Stevie
Literally who would say that? Don’t bring stevie into this lol.

Oh yea, definitely
People underestimate how influential The Beatles are, artists are directly influenced by them to this day, there's nothing outdated about their music, it's absolutely timeless. Yes Lawd! a great project btw
