prince played 30 different instruments and wasn't groomed to be an entertainer since his childhood

Thats why I said Prince was more musically talented than Mike.

I took points from Mike because he stole songs, but if Prince stole ideas too then it evens the field some.

Id still say Prince is more musically talented, but Mike is a better performer and vocalist.

In terms of songs and albums, I never really liked Prince and I love MJs music so thats always gonna be Mike winning in a wash to me.

But Prince having hands all over his music making process is cool, but that flex isnt always what its cracked up to be.

You will hear rappers like Tyler, J. Cole, Russ, etc. talk about them making their own videos, making their own beats, mixing, mastering, arranging, and writing everything, but none of them make the best music from a critic's or fan's perception.

Obviously Prince did it at a higher level than them but exerting more effort into the song making process doesnt necessarily mean the music will be better inherently.

Prince wrote and composed damn near all of his songs.. the layers he had were insane.

Yes mj is the best entertainer, singer, dancer or whatever but he didn’t write all of his songs (though I acknowledge he wrote some) and had a team behind him to craft the MJ image.

Dangerous was the result of teddy riley (creator of new jack swing and one of the goat producers) thats probably Michael Jackson’s best album in the production department and lyrically.

History had hits but wasn’t a good album. There’s a reason mj was upset with the way it was received and remixed that b**** and put it back out
