A solid C+ MJ film can def do half a billion

Hype and marketing will easily make it pass 1 billion. Dont act like we havent gotten a bum ass aquaman film that is mid at best that crossed the billion mark

Guessing a billion dollar film like this is pretty hard even if it looks favorable. It'd be nice, but it certainly doesn't have to do that to still be successful

A lot of people are gonna watch it, but the thing is you need a lot of people watching over weeks and weeks if not months. It'll likely make some good profit regardless

Aquaman did pretty good in the U.S. Nothing wild.

It was overseas and especially China at its peak of watching Western films that carried it an additional $800M+. It got 2 weeks of success in China before it even saw the U.S. market. Films don't roll out like that much anymore

Makes me really pay attention to how much Mike changed his face even in the Thriller era

Lionsgate said already on a number of earnings calls that they will promote this film like never before & the lionsgate ceo bought more shares after visiting set

I think they will be incredibly optimistic

Like I said earlier, there is no other 4 quadrant movie opening after this until The Mandalorian and Grogu on Memorial Day weekend

This is going to make bank opening weekend and if it’s truly good it’s going to have legs in May

It could honestly leg out through June if it’s great

i think this is really what it is for me too. Make up artists probably looked at 1000s of photos/ videos of him and side by side i kinda see it now
