I agree, if I had fun with a game what’s wrong with playing it again? Some of the linear games have missions that are fun to replay

Sony is making third person movie like games . If you like rewatching movies after you just watched it cool but to get your money worth it comes down to more. While at the same time there is no reason to get a ghost , god of war or last of us at launch vs years later

I would understand this point more if it was xbox only but it being on PC as well / mobile and the increase of software/hardware sales within xbox as a whole from new consumers make it way less crazy.
They are clearly playing the long game on the software side of things. by this logic Bethesda games shouldn't be exclusive at all

You know how the story will end but the gameplay isn’t the same. Same way in these match ups you know it will end with either winning the match or losing but you get there is up to circumstances

Like on 2k you can be a pg-c

Playmaker,
Defender
ShooterA mix etc.
That’s what makes multiplayer games have tons of replay value compared to story driven single player games
I guess you could kick out more hours with those by playing on a harder difficulty, doing achievements or different style of play

If Xbox gamepass came to ps5 I’d buy day one. I feel like Sony will never be able to compete with xbox gamepass anyways so why not just give in.
