It’s going to end up like the streaming wars of television and movies, and even music!
The art will be further devalued, and we will be left with garbage games made only to increase subscription numbers

CMA concluded that cloud gaming is the future and all of the hurdles we currently face will not be an issue
They then concluded that Microsoft is in a unique position where they own every aspect of the cloud infrastructure top to bottom and the studios and publishers for games unlike other competitors. They used Google as proof that having money is not all you need to break into cloud gaming. Microsoft is in a unique position no other company can replicate with regards to cloud infrastructure and the games they would own
They then concluded that Microsoft would have a huge incentive to make their Activision games exclusive to their cloud gaming service. This would essentially create a monopoly on cloud gaming bc they would have the biggest games and by far the best cloud gaming service driving most consumers to Microsoft’s cloud gaming offering
