It’s insane that we’re almost halfway through the generation and we’re just now getting the first noteworthy exclusive at the end of this month
this generation is abnormal because COVID extended the transition because no one could get the hardware
I see this generation lasting a couple years longer than usual
Ff16 was worse than 15 for me personally
Spider-Man 2 as hype af the first mission. But besides the first symbiote mission, the venom mission. For me it was legit the same as the first, swing to this location, fight these bad guys, then swing to another. Story wasn’t that good for me, act 3 was rushed af. Good game don’t get me wrong just didn’t meet my expectations
Only played FF16 and FF7 Remake but I loved both
Fair points on SM2 I get that still was a fun time though
Demons souls
Ratchet
Returnal
Only ps5 exclusives that are good and all released year 1
Everything else also released on ps4
man why are there are no new games
I’m so glad my ex bought me the ps5 and not me cause I just use this s*** as a streaming device atp

Combination of Covid and aaa games taking longer than ever to develop
Just give me Halo on PlayStation.
Ik halo sucks now, but just what it represents is enough
i dont know why people like Bethesda anymore
they make clunky ass games with poor gunplay and mechanics
Yeah. Starfield finally woke me up from that
But tbh, like there was a charm to elder scrolls and fallout. Like they were great for their time.
And tbh I still don't hate those games.
Starfield is just really bad and doesn't have that charm. They made the worst fast traveling system of all time but put a huge emphasis on it.
And they gave you thousands of planets that are boring husks. Even the ones with people on it.
I'm just shocked they f***ed it up so bad.
Just give me Halo on PlayStation.

Obviously the original trilogy is cemented but Halo reach Xbox 360 the best memories ever tbh

Reach was the last good one frfr. I loved the inclusion of assassinations

Facts Halo 4 was fun but the magic wasn’t there anymore - reach was a f***in art piece. Those skies were incredible
Amazing campaign and multiplayer
I remember the buildup to getting it too, watching mad YouTube videos of people armor locking . Just pure childhood excitement
To play games…
Exactly and if you have more games/exclusives why wouldn’t you go with that console

If those same games end up being on all consoles out, how is it a bad thing

Cause we all know PlayStation’s games won’t go on all consoles. So why buy an Xbox. That’s the implication

Cheap gaming pc
Cheap gaming pc
This is about consoles man. People who play on consoles don’t wanna play on a pc where you have to f*** with settings and upgrade more often than a console and GPU prices are insane rn
And I would know I have a huge steam library

No I’m saying Xbox is basically a cheap gaming pc

I agree with many of your points. I'm still salty about the concept art they showed with Pete and miles in their regular costumes in the air fighting venom at night. Wasnt even in the game.
Combination of Covid and aaa games taking longer than ever to develop
Lot of games got developed that companies thought were good based on consumer trends, but actually weren’t but by the time Covid ended there was too much invested in these games to really pivot
