Nah. What about the arrangement and the instrumentation. Even if it's not a choir in the background.
Don't think it would translate well in a studio version, live arrangements often don't. It's a completely different environment, atmosphere and listening experience.

Maybe you're right about that translation. It's necessarily about the music but more about the talent. Seeing his talent on full display in that space still, kind of makes me sad. Hence my salacious thread title.
