I was the biggest power rangers fiend growing up but I‘m not really excited for this idk

I get that I mean its 30 years later. For some an unnecessary nostalgia moment. I didn't watch the reboot. RIP Jason though . Its just an odd feeling especially cause of how some of them have passed. Also didn't know David Yost was bullied during filming. Glad cast getting their flowers though

I actually browsed the power rangers channel on YouTube couple days ago and I agree with that view tbh. MMPR was always “corny” but this s*** they seemed to have been dropping the last 10 years looked terrible.

So much potential to use the MMPR nostalgia differently and bring back fans. Nothing has topped MMPR.

As a huge mmpower rangers fan, I didn't want nostalgia I wanted Power Rangers 2 dammit.

Power rangers reboot was way too overhated, we should be on spinoffs of that by now

Cuz now they're gonna do a TMNT 90s nostalgia thing and make them time travel back and s***, if it ever makes it to theatrical release

Yeah people didn't let it live. Wasn't as generic or flat out boring as all of the reviews/impressions would've made you believe

Thought they did some stuff pretty well, actually cared about the kids a little bit, fight choreo being mostly real and not cgi was dope too, had a weight to it. Cgi was good too. I remember people saying a lot of the cinematography was flat, but honestly it was very very close to how the original show depicted their fight scenes and time away from school (i.e. Japanese cliffsides and forests) by using the quarry and the surrounding forest as it's main backdrop

It's like people don't understand that power rangers is always a product of the current zeitgeist, it's part of the appeal to be schlocky teen stuff

MMPR a classic but overall super sentai >>>> power rangers franchise

Goldar sucked and was NOTHING like the source material

The rangers were bland

Just a very mediocre take on the rangers if you’re an OG fan

They already did that where the animated turtles traveled to meet the 80s turtles and the comic turtles

looks like s***

I enjoyed the 2017 movie….yea it wasn’t perfect but they got a lot of things right imo
