    to answer you directly @op

I was having this talk with my homie yesterday and I do think many people will not turn down working with Kanye again as long as he’s off the Nazi s*** and turns down the antics

we gotta remember this is still Kanye West at the end of the day. Chris Brown is on a sold out stadium tour

  • Oct 5, 2025

I'll admit, "Bully" sonically's one of my fav albums from him post "Pablo".

Just needs to flesh out vocals & melodies to actually make it feel complete.

is it gonna' happen? F*** no.

I mean did he personally insult Mike Dean

Yeah and shouted at him, Mike decided he didn't have to put up with Ye anymore and started working with other artists like Weeknd

They already made up for that in 2022, Mike was brought back for Donda 2.

Ah I see, why did they fall out again?

They didn't have any fall out, they just stopped working for no reason. Ye usually calls him towards the end of his album cycles for mixing and mastering and in 2022, he did the Hitler s*** and got cancelled so Donda 2 didn't end up releasing or finished nor did his Collab album with James Blake come out.
Then he came back in 2024 with the Vultures albums but Mike Dean was probably busy working with The Weeknd so Ye just used Ty Dolla's team for mixing those.
Ye actually wanted to call Mike Dean for Bully and even announced it before he again had the whole Nazi drama earlier this year.
They didn't have any fallout and Mike actually posts about their collabs on IG comments frequently.

  • Oct 5, 2025

I believe Travis and Mike Dean have had a fallout though, Mike has been posting negative s*** bout him for some time.

Ye being right about Israel kinda made everyone be more forgiving towards his weird antics

  • Oct 5, 2025

Well, Mike definitely knows how difficult it is to work with Ye BEFORE his mental decline

Can't blame him for taking a break from his BS and just focus on working with healthy artists

  • Oct 5, 2025

Ye got Mind Control over these GOOD music niggas.

Mike Dean thinking about linking with Ye again is different from "the industry"

he's been working with Kanye since 2003

it can be hard to let go of such a long standing friendship, even when s*** gets toxic

exactly, like dude knows he’s severely mentally ill. i think it would tear him up inside if ye died tmw and they were on bad terms

i think a lot of his old colleagues feel the same

conflating his anti semitism with a genuine anti zionist rhetoric is dangerous and honestly exactly what these conservatives want

he’s made it clear that he doesn’t care about palestine. his alex jones interview he claims he only found out who netanyahu was 2 weeks ago from that recording

and he used to hang with groypers

  • Oct 5, 2025

i still have a. soft spot for ye (pause) but the idea that he’s somehow early on anti zionist wave is dangerous

there’s some evidence that it’s performance art rage bait (leak demo where he talks about convos he’s had with gigi about palestine), but regardless the impact is way more important than the intent and he’s crossed the line way too hard with that last twitter rant
