Producing can mean anything that is apart of the song creation process. Whether you made the beat, assisted in the arrangement of the song, creative input, deciding what instruments get used, etc...

Rap fans (understandably) often seem to think producing only means beat making. This is not true at all. A beat maker is a producer but a producer does not have to be a primary beat maker.

Mike Dean is 100% a producer. He's one of the most involved people in a good amount of the tracks he works on. Trying to argue he isn't or is something less is just exposing your lack of understanding

Dude, I get what you are pointing at, but you are wrong since he is literally credited as a producer on several Donda songs, and his instrumental touch to these songs is probably something that he himself came up with. So if it his own idea and he plays it then he is a producer.

He is a type of producer who sends his beats to other people, he is more about making beats with other people and that's the difference.

Beyonce is highly involved with the construction of her songs. This was not always the case earlier in her career necessarily but shes a major part of her production

Michael Jackson for example has production credits on even the Quincy stuff and even won Best Producer with him for Thriller. He wasn't necessarily making beats or anything but he was 100% behind the production process
