    thats not the point though

I mean it does have an effect...that’s the reason why they maintained their popularity, they have more control of their ideas on main stage cause MTV needs them more than they need MTV. Miley isn’t at that stage (at least yet)

yeah i guess but i feel like its only one part of it. Plus you could say she would have used those names only because they're well known examples of popular contemporary musicians and isnt specifically singling them out

Its kinda funny how they pretty much gifted her with supeom in 2013 and she did absolutely nothing with it besides being a feminist/gay ally

White men are - by far - the most powerful group, though.

Nah in 2020, white women are more privileged than white men.

I don't care, given her history how she namedrops rappers and doesn't even acknowledge who's she referring to, she needs to keep them out of her mouth. She can call out sexism in the industry without the namedrops.

"Ay turn that beauty light off"

#2958 of things Travis Scott has never said

  • Sep 8, 2020

"But rap is the most popular genre so it's relevant!"

I don't care, she has zero respect for it, so she needs to mind her goddamn business.

Nope. White men stay giving white women a false sense of equality due to "representation." The same goes for all other "minorities."

Kanye West, Travis Scott, and The Weeknd are all Black as well.

  • aaaaaaaaaa

    No bother

  • Cole World

    she's right

    You agree with her?

  • Sep 8, 2020

TBH she's been in the music game long enough for her to know what's up at least to some level

They should do what the performer wants esp. with the lights like they're the ones on stage

  • Sep 8, 2020

But yeah like ppl also said I ain't fw how she used hiphop styles and then threw it away when she was done with it after bangerz

  • Sep 8, 2020

She's right in one sense but also its complicated cause she has disrespected hiphop plenty
