Movie was extremely moving and so much nuance to the characters and writing. Steve Yuen one of the best doing it, period.

this is probably the best a24 movie hands down.

not just that but everything was practically perfect

easy 10/10, and deserves every award at the oscars.

finally got around to this and loved it. was scared it wouldn't live up to the hype but it definitely did for me. very wholesome and heartfelt without being manipulative or heavy handed. one of the best portrayals of family I've seen in a movie

also, Emile Moserri killed the score and is one of the best film composers out rn

Another thing that makes this film great is you could make a solo film out of some of the side characters.

You could do a film about the grandma. They already have one out that I think would be something similar called Lucky Grandma

You could make a thriller type solo movie about Paul. And his religion. Kinda like First Reformed.

Just watched. It was alright. Don't get the crazy hype over it. I was expecting it to shatter me emotionally and while it had emotional moments, none of it really came together in a super meaningful way. I'd have loved to see more conflict between the husband/wife etc.

John Wick is a pretty unemotional dude. You gotta be like him, the black version. Like your name says.
