I'm rn split on Midsommar and The Lighthouse but i've seen Midsommar multiple times and love it soooooo much. But KTT likes to call Ari a hack and what not
flawless heartbreak film imo with great underlying subthemes of gaslighting, leeching, loneliness & anxietyloved the score, loved the cinematography, loved the daylight setting, loved the performance of Florence Pugh
Don't understand any of the hate tbh, to me it's a perfect film and i'll probably be bumping my score up to the full 5 stars after my next rewatch
edit: i have def not seen all the a24 films tho

Midsommar one of my favorite horror films.
Ex Machina, Killing of A Sacred Deer, and Under the skin are in my top 5. Good Time as well
