Mitski Miyawaki (born September 27, 1990) is a Japanese-American singer-songwriter. Mitski self-released her first two albums, Lush (2012), and Retired from Sad, New Career in Business (2013), while studying at Purchase College's Conservatory of Music. Her music has been described as confessional and funny, boastful and self-deprecating, poetic and profane all at once. Themes usually revolve around the struggles of young adulthood. Be the Cowboy is her fifth and latest studio album released on August 17, 2018.

Well i found her on LastFM as recommendations for Fiona Apple(just casual listener). I thought she looked cute. Then listened to her most popular album Be the Cowboy and Wow. I just love everything about this album. I cried when Nobody came on. It hits so hard... She is so funny but sad and beautiful. Tbh might have a crush now. Watching her videos...Just a charming human.I hope she is alright and has someone who loves her.
