the key change this stuff is so tastefully done. she’s not a flashy songwriter but she knows her stuff. where most indie songwriters feel like they meander these days, she’s really great at dynamics. i really haven’t felt this strongly about songwriter since i started becoming obsessed with river cuomo’s demos lol.

the key change works so well in this song just off the strength of one note.
