The problem isn’t not being able to hear footsteps in Warzone it’s that it’s difficult to tell where the footsteps are coming from most of the time.

People say that campers ruin the game but it’s really the s***ty map design that encourages camping and punishes people who like to actually run around

Actually trying to run around the map will get you gunned down from 20 windows at once. Infinity ward is dumb enough to make huge maps a 6v6 playlist too lol
