(derailing = mute) really hindered the thread cus there's no good explanation as to what "derailing" really means. does it mean anything non frank ocean little demon related? (no discussion outside of the song, its shipping status, reddit being dumb, etc)

does it mean anything unrelated to frank ocean in general? (like the random AOC foto that was posted -- i get why that material would def be considered "derailing", espc since users get weirdly h**** whenever attractive women get posted)

point is, "derailing" is a word that is very confusing without specifying what the boundaries of the rails are, and when u offer mutes as a consequence for "derailing", people act on their confusion by not doing anything at all cus they don't wanna get muted, so the thread gets incredibly less fun
