i have a very high opinion of carti now. i like the other tracks you posted (and i liked magnolia and broke boi singles) but imo its jus not as good as his newer s***.
what you posted is solid tracks, but basically 2018-present; die lit era, og wlr v1 era leaks, and wlr, is all generational/transcendental/next lvl defining music to me and we're already seeing that influence on the guys that got next

completely understand your point of view. a lot of people i know who came during the self titled / die lit era feel the same whenever i try to put em on. his sound grew a lot more refined so it's understandable

Saw past the “meme” facade & stopped hating on Riff Raff after hearing him freestyle. Realized he was just a Houston “I done came down” freestyler off the top, respected him way more. Saw past his outlandish branding to the lyricist he was at his core.
