“having excess money in your bank account isn’t tangible and buying things is fun but you can’t really buy happiness. obviously the reason most people want money is the sense of security so once you get past that, what’s the point?
money is the most useless thing to be greedy over because if you have more than you can put to use you literally just end up giving it away when you die anyways”

Money is actually great in the world we live in. I wish it were different, but you can travel, give your kids a better education, buy high tech things and much more. I understand what you are trying to say, but in reality you are wrong. It should not be this way, but it is.
It probably has more to do with the person you was before you got money. I mean if you were depressed before you are probably going to be depressed again just having other worries. It could also be the way you come to money. You can make a ton of money with an exhausting job and still feel you never have enough so you keep on working and getting more exhausted.
In my opinion many people can’t relate well to other people so it’s no surprise many people are ignorant and think it’s done by „man you are rich do whatever you want“. It’s probably not that easy just as many things in life.
There's truth to what he's saying
But money is still incredibly important. I'm tryna hit that next level.

@op it all depends on what you value over money...
If money is the root of all evil then what's the root of all good?

This is a great thread and people saying otherwise are brainwashed by the dollar
