On ktt came and went really mean “me and my 2 friends aren’t playing something so that mean nobody else is”
my standard tends to be how long an album spends in the top 10 of the billboard 200. KOD was out in six weeks, and out of the top 20 by its eighth week, ergo it did not have longevity. simple. when you have an album that spends a considerable amount of time in that region, that's how you know people are consistently going back to it.
Definitely impressive and I’d say this is the nail in the coffin as far as Cole being top 3, that legacy is over
Too far along for it to even matter anymore

Who give a f*** about your standard when the album did well and stuck around with the GP so Much every song is certified. How many rappers are doing that? Move around b.

Fair if I understand correct. Big 3 is pretty much dead, the boy came out on top
Noooooo I’m not waiting for s***
Cole stans been telling me to wait since like 2017! It’s over

dark lane is a mixtape where 7 songs off the project were leaked/released for free on sc/yt months prior
off season is an album as cole said.
Yeah I don’t care for Drake and even I can tell the difference

the majority of those units came from the debut week so i'm not terribly impressed. what really would have impressed me is if he got a single hit off that album or spent more than six weeks in the top 10 before plummeting. too bad cole can't seem to do that these days.

are we talkin longevity like in general terms of the album or longevity in reference to popular music charts

Lmao that’s not impressive but not many rappers besides a couple are doing it. Dude shut the f*** up talking to me.
only real music is gunna last. All that other s*** is here and gone tomroowwww
Yea I mean I don’t think anyone claims that J.Cole is a top rapper anymore. He’s not doing bad tho, he might still round out the top 30 or so.
Nigga a 6ix9ine fan coming for Cole. I’m done responding to that degenerate.
if you're referring to the thread i made about 6ix9ine's spotify debut, i was making fun of the fact that his entire album debuted with 1.1m streams. not one song, but his entire album lol.
none of cole's albums have stuck around since 2014FHD. i thought that was gonna change since his album was getting so much praise, more so than 4YEO or KOD, but clearly no matter what the dude is gonna keep being a one week wonder. at least he got middle child, a lot, and the london in the last few years.
