Can I use the patois if I’m not Jamaican? If I make it sound too white is that worse than doing a fake Jamaican accent to sing the patois?

Going to a 2000s club night next Friday and I know Temperature, Get Busy, gimme the light, we be burnin, and give it up to me are definitely gonna be played, and I don’t want to look stupid.

For context I’m half Iranian half white and look like I could be Puerto Rican, so I could get away with it for sure, it’s really more of a moral dilemma.
