Me and my brother debating this in our family groupme. I’m backing Frank.. You can hear Frank’s influence on all these new RnB artists (female included Sza and Summer Walker). His argument is that Damn reached more people in different walks of life and got better sales and more attention from industry.

    What say you..

Just came on here to say that DAMN and Blonde are both great albums and I will not partake in pitting one genius against another.

    blonde fs

tons of artists said they used it as inspiration for their albums (Kendrick on DAMN. or Lorde on Melodrama)

also spawned a ton of people who follow the atmospheric indie pop-ish sound on it (Choker, Sunni Colon, Inner Wave)

i could argue that the stripped back and meshed together lounge sound used by Solange on WIGH is Blonde inspired

People really think Blonde's wasn't influential? Literally every art-hoe artist (Clairo, Steve Lacy, Choker, Brockhampton) post 2016 has been inspired by Blonde in some way, as well as Tyler, Rocky, and SZA
