They're literally albums..... Full length projects, sample clearances... features approved by the labels.... creative space has nothing to do with this...
Nah those aint studio albums sorry lol
DLDT was a great project so I’m confident Drake will make up for the lackluster project CLB was with another great mixtape/playlist project. That’s been his strategy since 2014.
iyrtitl was made for datpiff, the owner confirmed it was supposed to drop there but birdman didnt allow it. it was also supposed to be a gangsta grillz tape with drama. more life is a playlist because it was made as an ovo sound radio episode that displayed a bunch of other talents and newer acts instead of himself

That doesn't mean anything. The amount of effort went into it is no different than the effort that goes into an album. Mixtapes back in the day were meant to rap over samples without having to get them cleared for touring purpose, and rapping over other people's beats. The "mixtape/playlist" s*** was just a marketing tool to not have them compared to his actual albums which in theory failed.

It's the same formula over and over
Kinda ironic cause you linked s*** that you’re parroting
Nah those aint studio albums sorry lol
By definition: no
By effort: 100% they are
Didn’t drake compare it to views himself?
he compared it to nwts if i remember correctly but said he can never make a strict rap album because people also want rnb from him
uh oh
I mean maybe the approach on the two albums were similar, but they do not sound the same at all lol
girls want girls
fair trade
are radio songs to me off top of my head. generic filler songs that they added guest verses to to save them
fountains is the dancehall sound to me edit: afrobeats/dancehall might as well be the same thing for what drake does to them lol
fair trade
filler
f*** you

He said it would be like views because it’d be “music to grow to”
fair trade
filler
f*** you
Girls want girls might be the best vibe on the album lmao

ok
Niggas just stanning at this point if you deny that Drake calling IYRT a mixtape was a marketing tactic.
ok
mixtapes have been all original music way before iyrtitl. it has nothing to do with ''he didnt want it to be compared to his albums''
