tbh i don't care how much drake switches up the formula, it's a great formula and he's always gonna get great songs out of it. the biggest problem with CLB is how obviously uninspired a lot of it is, any amount of experimenting he could have done (which there is a fair bit of on songs like n 2 deep and get along better) wouldn't have made a difference if he couldn't come up with solid tunes to go along with them.

he even remade time flies with girls want girls because he was so tapped for song ideas, and some of the best songs are the ones where he's barely present at all and lets the features do the heavy lifting (it's quite telling that the two biggest hits off the album are basically a future song and a 21 savage song).

“Everywhere I went” That doesn’t mean everyone else in the world hated it lol. Also Twitter isn’t the best place to gauge opinions on Drake lol. Even when IYRTITL and TC dropped they hated it.
