although X is fun, its super fast and aggressive combat just doesn’t fit the series as much as the more strategic combat in this one imo

also like the roster in this one a lot more, especially with DLC

X in its prime was great. Very fast paced, high execution, nonstop action. The main thing that hurt X was the shaky netcode at launch and the questionably balanced DLC cast. That and a shoddy story mode.

11 had its fair share of problems too, with the crushing blows being either too easy to do for some characters or nearly impossible with others, fatal blows being too casual, multiple defense option issues and a lackluster and very disappointing story mode/ tower system

All that being said, X will never be in its prime again, and MK11 has fixed many (but not all) the things I said. So for as which is the better current experience, I’d say 11. But as far as prime, I’d give it to X

I’d argue X required much more strategic ability then 11 does.

Managing one meter for both defense and offense options. 11 has 2 different meters making it less of risk to use it. Run in MKX was a dumb mechanic though, I’ll say that
