I more wonder how many seasons MK1 will last and how engaged people will be with it in comparison to 11. Seeing gamers finally get their hands on it will be interesting. Then its SFVI, Tekken, MK all at same time nearly feels like oversaturation but tournament market will love it

The 2 year schedule had plagued the NRS games since MK9, i really wish they would break outta that.

MK11 kinda broke that curse, but with COVID happening around the same time, it’s debatable if 11 was even supposed to end around that time (I don’t think it was tbh) Cutting all support for the game really hurt it too.

It would be great for the casual crowd to enjoy new fresh content from the game, and be great for the competitive scene to if a single NRS game could continue support for more than 2 years imo.

MKX and even Injustice 2 got some spotlight from the NRS community during COVID quite a bit, and it was really cool to see some old and new players reignite those older games again.

I think with the effort put into this one and switching engines I see it going more than 2 years but I think it will come down to how it lands . Cause 2026 feels a while away lol

will be playable yes . Will it knock your sox off no but MK11 is available on Switch and the goal is obviously run at around that level

but if you buying on switch I would still wait for reviews as I say on any game give it some time some updates. If you want to be launch it will have some hiccups but not pokemon scarlet lol
